Breakfast - Slow Cooker Spiced Apple and Carrot Porridge:
Breakfast can be a tricky meal to prepare when you’re needing to avoid dairy, gluten and eggs, but this delicious recipe is not only tasty and allergy-friendly; it’s easy and no-fuss too!

Dinner - Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas:
If you’re looking for a simple yet tasty dinner that’s allergy-friendly, these fajitas are an absolute doddle to prepare in the slow cooker, and you can easily adapt the heat level to your individual taste and preference.
Ingredients:
450g boneless skinless chicken breast
1 can diced tomatoes
2 tbsp diced green chilies
1 large bell pepper, cut into strips
1 red onion, cut into strips
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 lime, juiced
2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp paprika

This watermelon sorbet from Taste of Home is a firm favourite of ours and is the perfect alternative to ice cream or other dairy-based desserts. We love the vegan chocolate chip “seeds” for both flavour and aesthetics, but you can skip these for little ones if you prefer – the sorbet will be refreshing and delicious either way.

250ml orange juice
2 tablespoons lime juice

Free from all eight of the most common allergens, these cookies are quick, easy, and make for the perfect treat to bake with the children – an activity many allergy-suffering kids are forced to miss out on.
