Part time. A.M. Housekeeper/Laundress. West London.

Location: West London

Position: Permanent

Salary: £20per hour gross

Job Type : Domestic Staff

This is a morning role, 8am to 1pm or maybe to 12 noon, you choose, so perfect for someone who has an afternoon job or looking to cut down on hours.

Working with the full time Hk/Cook there is also a nanny for the 11 year old boy so no child care, but be a warm and smiley person as this very much a “family” home and lively .

You need to be on the ball, often working alone but also with the small team. Really confident in your laundry skills and a multitasker. Mucking in is what I really mean!

The family are well known in certain circles so respecting their privacy is important and knowing when to step back.

Why? Because she is undergoing treatment, successfully, for medical problems suffered after a serious assault which could last for years. Definitely not caring for her just being caring.

You will need to cook easy to eat food and leave for her as she is a bit challenged re eating so just a light dinner, be aware that she is slower so go gently with her and just be a jolly good cleaner, laundry person, dog carer, well, take charge really! Eye for detail, be flexible if the odd stay for the night to dog sit is needed ( paid extra) when she is away on odd occasions, deal with phone calls and visitors and be totally reliable. You are desperately needed NOW!

Live in: H.K / Cook. Own Cottage. Principal away 50% of the time.

Your normal week will be 9am to 5pm. Monday to Friday. When the owner is there, then be flexible but you will get time off if you work longer hours. Estate staff and employ more for entertaining and shoots.

It is beautiful, near to a town, not lonely and the cottage is lovely. Just the job for a single someone with no pets or children who wants a safe, long lasting job.

This is a manor house so you will arrange your cleaning routine to suit the needs of a large home where entertaining happens but fear not you will then have help.

The cooking will be game from the shoots, lots of veg from the garden and Mediterranean dishes. I won’t make light of this skill but for the dinner you can leave food to be heated up so you can leave at 5pm with no need to do extra if there are no guests. Just simple stuff for two.

Open again due to the bereavement of the new persons close family member. You will find this could be a job for life, busy at times yes, but rewarding with considerate employers.

This family are superb, and deserve someone who will love their friendly warm manner and do a good job 5 days a week across easy hours with cleaning and general help. If you are experienced with good references then you would have a private, air conditioned wing of this house in a lovely area of the town. They would like you to stay the nights in the house seven nights a week but of course go away when you wish.

The housekeeper of 18 years will still be there to help, living out, she cooks and will help with the laundry so really, this job is HASSEL FREE. There is a beautiful home to keep sparkling so you MUST be a cleaner who knows what you are doing and have no pets.
